Traditional Liposuction

The cannula is gently manipulated in the tissues to loosen fat cells, which are then extracted through medical vacuum suction. The injection of tumescent fluid allows the fat to be removed more easily from the surrounding tissues.

What can I Expect in the Recovery and Results?

After the excess fat is removed, the remaining fat and skin adjust to the slimmed body contour, revealing a sculpted, more aesthetically pleasing figure. The incisions through which the fat is removed are tiny, don’t need stitches to heal, and leave virtually no visible scars. Once complete, the area treated will be protected with a compression garment to limit swelling and hold the reshaped tissues in place.

It is normal to expect some bruising and swelling in the first stages of recovery. You must avoid heavy lifting or vigorous motions for a few days. After a few days, your results appear, with your newly sculpted figure looking incredible at about the six-week mark.
